This report presents the findings of the review of resource allocation for primary health care in 2 health centres, Ngariam HC III and Bisina HC II in Ngariam sub county, Katakwi District. The study was conducted by Katakwi District Development Actors Network (KaDDAN) with financial support from DFID through Development Research
and Training (DRT
). According to the research findings, 76.9% of the Health workers interviewed agree that there is serious shortage of the staff in the Health Units. This is in line with highlights of challenges facing Health Sector as per the 2016 Katakwi District 5 year Development Plan that points out that 47.9% of staffing positions are
vacant in the District
